Type down (easy to copy and paste) your thoughts (ie, agree or disagree and why ? ) after reading the following paragraph. (must be 5 sentences, 1 paragraph. 150-250 words)

Although I understand where John Bowers is coming from in striving for perfection, I cannot totally say I agree with him 100%. He have brought up if the Webster's dictionary was only 99.9% accurate, there would be like 470 misspell words in it, that in which I understand. However, given the example of a doctor only being 99.9% correct, all these consequences would happen. The matter of the fact is that there will be no one, no doctor that is 100% correct , but yes, I do agree that we all should strive for perfection. Nevertheless, what if they fail on the way, does that mean they were not aiming for perfection? That's based on perspective and opinions.

We all view perfection differently, one can tell someone is really doing their best at the job and fail on the way and another can see a messed up, impotent person because they failed on the way. If we are to push for the term PERFECTION, and saying trying our best is not good enough, many individual would suffer if they were to fail aiming to do their best. What if we do encourage trying our very best? What I respect about what Jon was saying is that "we're more comfortable resting on our efforts than we are with focusing on our results." This basically showed me a whole new perspective which I should take into account because it is true. Trying our best is indeed vital but our best is not yet when our outcome is not completed or where it should be. That's when trying a different approach or reaching out to help comes in. Thus, I do agree with Jon with this point, especially when he reminded us that we are not perfect people, thus we will fail, but we should not let failure hinder ourselves from striving for perfection.
