Pillay and Cardenas (2015) article explores the impact of unconscious motivational factors that play a role in employee motivation in an organisational framework. They analysed existing research in neuroscience which suggested that conscious motivations often have to compete with unconscious motivations and focusses on various other hidden factors that play a role in determining organizational performance. Raeespoor et al. (2015) attempted to analyse the precise impact of employee motivation on customer satisfaction using a qualitative study methodology. By reviewing existing literature in the field, the researchers identified the benefits of employee motivation particularly on customer satisfaction and ultimately on the performance of the business. Furthermore, they also proposed strategies of enhancing employee motivation in an organisational framework.
