what should be the relative position of complementary and alternative medicine? How should we determine what gets paid for and why? Is there (or should there be) a clearinghouse for the efficacy of complementary and alternative medicine?

In the present scenario, an integrated approach is the need of the hour for tackling current health conditions. Complimentary and Alternative medicines are more of customized therapy. Most of the alternative medicines like Ayurveda, Yoga etc focuses mostly on individual based intervention so as to get the best possible results. Integrative approach would be the best choice especially in non communicable diseases like Diabetes mellitus, Hypertension, Cardiac disorders etc, psychiatric disorders like Depression, Insomnia, Bipolar Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive disorder etc, Neurological disorders like Parkinsonism, Epilepsy etc. Integrated approach can act as a quick healing hand in managing these conditions.

Scientific evidence based studies has been conducted and published in internationally accepted journals with high impact factor on the efficacy of various treatment methodologies, therapies and medication of Alternative medicines in various health condition.
