Answer: The example of a Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) approach includes such as acupuncture, naturopathy, Massage therapy etc.

The complementary and alternative medicine approach is a method that has been used to treat the side effects of the medication therapy or to cure some of the disease. In most of the cases, after chemotherapy, for the pain relief the healthcare professionals advice for the use of CAM. Acupuncture is used for pain relief, back pain etc. It is a kind of traditional methods that are being used in the case of curing of the disease.

Usually, methods like practicing yoga, naturopathy provides a better opportunity to reduce the risk of the disease occurance. Hence it could be beneficial in some of the terms.

In the nursing practice, the use of CAM can be indulge in providing options to treat some of the minor disease or adverse effects. The massage can be used for pain relief. Meditation can be used to burst out the stress and encourage the peace of mind.
