Expert Solution

Probiotic therapy consist of the usage of beneficial microorganisms which are good for the gut health. Prebiotic therapy consists of the usage of plant fibres which are non digestible by human body, it aids in the growth of good bacteria in the gut. Alternative medicine as the name suggests, is a branch of medicine which deals with the alternative techniques but provides similar healing effects. Eg- Homeopathy and Accupuncture.

Prebiotic and probiotic therapy both focus on maintaining a good gut health. They are derived from natural sources, hence they are safe to consume. Alternative medicine mostly consists of home remedies and other related techniques which is again safe and easy to follow.

Prebiotic therapy, probiotic therapy and alternative medicine are promising. However, their effectiveness is lower and it can be time conscompared to the normal medicinal treatment.
