This helps us to make appropriate and corrective decisions in the given situations which can be risky and difficult at the point when we start making decisions according to our emotions and gut feeling.

Now let us discuss why emotional intelligence is not important in influencing an individual's success in the workplace.

• In the workplace, a good and skilled employee with emotional intelligence can build trust and compatibility with their teammates which will directly improve the efficiency of the team and in the end it will help the organization to focus on their long term goals and objectives.
• Employees with good emotional intelligence can control their emotions while working and does not affect or heart the emotions of the fellow employees which eliminates the chances of bringing dispute or misunderstanding in the team.
• Emotional intelligence not just helps in improving and motivating our own emotions but also helps to support and motivate our other employees which support and makes a strong path for success for the organization.
