Expert Solution

Classification of Vape Pens or any sort of vaping instrument , On the basis of ethics completely depends on the individual perception ,considerations & most importantly on the knowledge about this products. Like in personal ethics a person might thihk it to be safer & even healthier than tobacco cigarette, but for society it may look like the traditional tobacco(Nicotine rich) product.

So in society people can be divided in smokers & non smokers and both of them have their believes about these products on the basis of their awareness & knowlegde about the effect of vaping instruments. for example in your personal ethics you think that vape pens are safe than tobacco cigarettes so you can use these products freely without worrying about health issues & you can also think of using them anywhere, even at the places where smoking is prohibited, but same thing doesn't imply on the society because people in our community might not think about these things in the same way as we think & justify.

So our personal ethics may or may not match with all the people of society about vaping instruments. there is another major reason of different opinions about e-smoking products is that there is no complete & in depth study about the positive & negative effects on the health & the environment, which can be accepted universally. Researches are still going on to make the outcomes of e-smoking on health more clear. So I can say that it fits under all the three categories of ethics like personal, social & conservation as per our knowledge & awareness.

Yes !!! Vaping is considered bad for health. However is doesn't contain tobacco but the ingradients of vape pen contain Nicotine which is addictive. At very high levels nicotine is toxic & can be lethal & it can affect brain development & can lower the levels of activity in the prefrontal cortex of brain in young adults. These e-liquids mainly contain vegetable glycerin(VG) to produce a lot of vapor, these substances can carry risk. For example glycerine & propylene glycol can create carcinogens. The material we use to make these products/devices are equally harmful for health but these are safer than traditional hukkah & tobacco products. These vape pens are also less polutant to the environment. These is very low risk of passive smoking
