Prior to this week’s reading, how did you distinguish between the protection of individual privacy and intellectual property? From your experience why do you think there are intellectual property violations?
Constitution recognize this right as a right to privacy being available to every citizen of the country. Individual privacy refers to the private life of an individual without an interference from the second party having the right to live peacefully from unwanted people and be alone or do whatever they want (within legal terms) and to enjoy their personal time without a third eye of anyone or you can say free from being watched.
Protection of intellectual property refers to the art, innovation or creativity of the original work that someone created against the whole world. When somebody put forth their all efforts and produce something unique out of the box thing which is useful and creative, he or she go for IPR license to safeguard their innovation.
There are many times, when there occur violations of IPR. When somebody produce something, its his right to publish it or to promote this, but many times trade secrets are being disclosed by some deceive people and used for their own benefit. Sometimes even people do copy another person trademark to show off their brand or confuse their customers and grab the market. Many times, in song lyrics also, there are many examples of being copied.
