Coummunity level awareness on sexual assault can greatly influences a person's beliefs and behaviour thereby setting a standard of appropriate behaviour of a man in a society. These influence include one's own work place, schools, colleges, Govt. offices.

WAYS OF BRINING AWARENESS

• Defining the term
• Educating oneself and others about sexual assault
• Understanding and accessing the available resources in the campus
• Building a supportive networking team
• If you see something, Say something
• Boycotting movie which depiciting sexual violence
• If you see someone you know is having some problem due to assault, then help them out
• Volunteering for sexual assaults awareness program
• Using social media as a powerful stage
• Contributing as much as possible for them
• Contacting superiors or NGO's on the ways of helping sexually assaulted will help you
• Asking your state government on increased funding for rape victims in helping them in over coming their problem
• Conducting training programmes on self-defense for school girls, college going or working women will also be helpful
• Refusing to tell or laugh at sexist jokes and knowing and understanding the seriousness of the issue can do wonders
• If you happen to come across any sexual assault victim try to empathize with her, do support her, accept her, encourage her, positive words will be a good medicine, active listening to her talks, notice her behaviour, don't let her to handle this battle fight alone, be her side, don't try to suppress her, raise voice against the injustice happened to her.
