a. I agree with the view. It is partly true. Some students want to copy from others and do not write assignment by themselves. Besides, they can directly mention the teacher's lecture.

b. The major means of reducing plagiarism are:

  • The students should be encouraged to be creative.
  • They should be made aware about the bad aspects of the plagiarism.
  • They should be made aware of the punishment bod plagiarism.
  • A strong ethical sense should be aroused in the students.
  • The teacher should introduce activity-based study.
  • New modern technology should be introduced to prevent plagiarism.

3. Academic journey is the period of preparation and it builds the foundation of an individual. In the course of the academic journey one is seasoned with discipline and good character. It is the period of making character and it helps one to be efficient in future life. If one is habituated to take unethical means in the student life, he can never be rewarded in the professional life.

In reality it appears that those who used to follow unethical means can not do well in the professional life. They fail to follow the ethics and therefore they face punishment. Even they lose their job. So, there are many things that make life miserable if one follows unethical means in life.
