How can the Mintzberg’s managerial roles be integrated in a transformational leadership style?
The roles of the Mintzberg’s managerial model are 10 in number as:
· Figurehead.
· Leader.
· Liaison.
· Monitor.
· Disseminator.
· Spokesperson.
· Entrepreneur.
· Disturbance Handler.
· Resource Allocator.
· Negotiator.
The process of transformation or change are been done to make a business more competent and be in a competitive market. The transformation needs the people to be led towards the needful actions that would bring transformation for the business from a working process to another. For the transformation, there are needs of making people agreeable to the needful changes for the business to get the transformation possible. The needs of transformation are well depicted or as are the 10 aspects in the leadership which needs all these aspects for the best of transformation. The people to people coordination, the motivation to change, and work as a team alongside the needs of the job to make the transformation possible. So the leader acts as the top man to make the changes possible and act as the liaison between the employees and the employer to make sure the transformation possible as needed. The expectations of the business from the team are brought out by a leader in the transformation period so that the changes as planned are conducted with the needful precision. The need for coordination in such a changing situation or transformation the lead is taken by the leaders who have to do each aspect of transformation based on Mintzberg’s model and its 10 points are key to a good transformation leader in any business.
