A manager who is a good leader can turn an average employee into a star employee and a bad leader can turn a star employee into a poor employee. The leadership quality of the managers is very important for the growth in the performance of any organization in the following ways:

1. It provides guidance to the employees

Managerial leadership provides guidance to the employees which means when the manager acts as a leader as well he chalks out the plans and ensures that his followers (here, employees) follow the plans effectively and he guides the throughout. This leads to greater productivity.
