Why am I not able to connect to a site using wifi?
This is highly depends on who sets up your WiFi Internet Connection, which Internet Service Provider you have subscribed to, and what country you are in.
Why some websites could not load? There are several possible reasons as stated below:
Your WiFi router configuration may have set to block a certain IP or domain name which includes access to your intended website. However, this can be unblock in the configuration in your WiFi router.
If that is not the case, then it can be your Internet Service Provider (ISP) that is blocking/blacklisted that particular website domain name.
Another possible reason is that the website may be using a shared IP address. If that shared IP address is blacklisted, all websites that uses that particular IP address is not accessible. If you have that particular website’s IP address, you can find online whereas services is available to determine whether that IP address is blacklisted.
If it is not blacklisted by your Internet Service Provider, that it may be blocked/blacklisted your country’s authority or possibly another party (in which I do not know so don’t ask me).
However, there is also another possible reason is that, at the Internet Service Provider (ISP) level. There might be some configuration issue in which making certain websites not accessible.
As long as the website is not illegal or blacklisted by your country, you can contact your Internet Service Provider to determine the issue whether it is a problem at their end.
Last but not least, it could be your device’s antivirus or firewall blocking you from accessing that particular website.
If you still really need to access that particular website, you can research more about VPN services.
Hope this information helps you.
