Social wellness refers to an individual's interaction with their immediate surroundings and environment. Social wellness emphasizes on building good and healthy relationships with other individuals. It involves interactions to strengthen one's bond with significant others. Social wellness is the most important when a person is facing the most difficult time in their life. The relationships that have been built and nurtured during a period of time, help support a person to deal with tough times. Social wellness can be improved by trying to build healthy relationships, not blaming others, accepting one's mistakes, being loving and affectionate towards others, being there for others. This would help build a healthy bond with other people in one's immediate circle.
Intellectual wellness refers to indulging in activities which causes intellectual stimulation. It is very important to continue to learn throughout one's life. The immense knowledge that is available for our comprehension is magnificent. One must utilize it to the fullest so that they don't reach to a point of stagnation. A mind can certainly be rusted if it is not utilized in intellectually stimulated activities. Intellectual wellness can be improved by simple things like engaging in intellectually stimulating conversation with other members of the society, taking an active part in community activities, imparting and gaining as much knowledge as one can. This is where social and intellectual wellness is interrelated.
