Racial discrimination occurs in the workplace through diversification among the employees. There are employees who are working together in an organization that belongs to different closes and ethnicity. The higher authority who might be biased towards a certain race might show racial discrimination against the so-called competing race or the lower class race. These can occur in various forms and affect the employees at various levels.

The effect can be seen people getting mentally frustrated and there is a negative and prejudiced environment is created. There are various instances where individuals do not get hired, biased promotions, firing someone the grounds of race, paying the employee less and classification/segregation in the organization.

There are various things that can be done to combat these issues

• HR and higher authorities create an open space where employers can give their viewpoints and concerns.
• The assurance that complaining will not land up in firing from the Job.
• Some people do not get involved in racism and discrimination. They think they do not do anything and are against it. These people should be told about the acts employers do simplicity that provokes racisms
• People who do racism acts should be warned and asked not to practice it
• Collective community engamenet through training, workshops and conferences.
