Solutions

Expert Solution

1)Privilege means a special right or advantage one has. Institutions in our society, basically give privilege to people who has power in their hands, for example if a person go for an interview and the person who get job is the one who got a recommendation from higher officials or from a politician even the person does'nt fit for the job and not for those people who have actually fit for that job, so here the privilege is given to the one who got recommendations. So when other people who sees this incident will then follow the same process and the recommendation from higher authority and go for interview. this is how society reinforces peivilege.

2)Privilege are not acknowledeged by the people who actually have it. It include like race, gender, wealth, fame etc. the reason why people resist to examine their own privilege because they might think that it leads to conflict, emotional problems etc for example if a white men explore his privilege given by people to him, and if he finds out that he is given privilege is given for his race and colour then it leads to emotional problem like , he might get upset that he didn't get privilege for good one and it is just given for his skin colour.

3) INTERSECTIONALITY: its a social categorization done in accordance with race, religion, gender, class etc. The reason why intersectinality is important in women's studies is that, when we take women as a social group , most of the people think that they are weak and they cannot do anything, so they were given less privilege when compared with men. so it is important to conduct studies which help to express the right and privilege women have in this society.

4) LGBT are not accepted by many countries and when these countries are supported by other countries , then it act as a reinforment for those countries to not to accept them and they avoid giving privilege to these LGBT peoples. Russia and New york is a place where they put laws which denies these LGBT people to have a equal rights in their society and it disscriminate these people from normal people. This law doesn't give them ,their freedom to have a relationship with people they like. So according to me it is not right to control someones emotion OR DESIRE OVER OTHER PERSON.

5) I do experienced priviegebut when i experience it i feel like a burden if it affect someother people.
