• Do you think our society has changed a lot or a little in your lifetime? Why or why not?
• What can you say about your own experiences as a member of modern society? To what extent have you had experiences like those described in mass-society theory? What about class-society theory?
Our society has changed a lot in my lifetime. In last tweenty years, our technology has developed a lot. This technological development is a reflection of globalization.
Globalization is a process of interaction and assimilation among the all country, people, industries and various govermental nations. There are three classification of globalization.
Overall globalization explained that through this process national and regional economics and societies become assimilated and integrated by the global network of trade.
Apart from that, as our technology has become developed, as well as positive and negative consequences also developed. Our life become so complicated, therefore our mental illness appears more than before. So suicidal rate become higher day by day. People stop interacting with others, they become egocentric. As well as once in a time, there was a inequality in between men and women, but nowadays we are equally same. Womens became educated more and they are independent as well. Therefore sometimes this equality can cause of impairment of relationship. Nowadays risk of divorce rate became higher than before, because of lack of emotional attachment.
Thus, our society has changed a lot. These are the major cause of changing our society in my lifetime.
