Political Culture is considered important in Comparative Public Administration as it is the set of attitude, beliefs and sentiments which give order and meaning to a political administrative process. Political Culture also provides the underlying assumptions and rules that govern behavior in the administrative system.
1)Briefly explain any Four features of Political Culture
2)Briefly discuss how the four (4) features discussed in Part B (1.) can affect the administrative system in developing countries like Zambia.
1. Political culture is one of the important branch of political science which include the set of shared view, thoughts, beliefs and attitudes, sentiments, etc which will properly provide the proper meaning to the political administrative processes.
Some of the features of political culture are as follows -
2. Administrative system in developing countries like Zambia are unitary, indivisible, multi party, and democratic sovereign state. Basically Zambia is a democratic Republic.
In the countries like Zambia, political culture is known as the psychological dimensions of the politics as in such countries all the power resides in the hand of the people. Political view and beliefs drives the political leaders there. These countries also include in green economy and sustainable development. As political culture has an important feature of changing according to the change in the culture of society so the adoption of green economy and sustainable development is one of the important step taken by such countries after the effect of deforestation.
