My favorite business discipline is management. In the management of any organization, strategies are formulated and the employees of the organization are managed and coordination is made between them to achieve the objectives or goals of the organization through the tools available such as natural resources, finance, applications, and the most important one, human resources.

In a case related to management, McDonald’s was held liable for injuries caused due to an off-duty and off-premises worker fell asleep while driving in the state of Oregon. It was learnt during court case that the said driver, working with McDonald's, was having long working shifts up to twenty four hours. This made him vulnerable for harming himself as well as others while driving himself from work to home. This case could have been avoided through proper management of duty assignments and work shifts. McDonald's should have given every employee fair work shift and also time to retire himself from the hectic duty schedule. It could have avoided such accident as every employee would have got ample time to rest.
