Illustrate the most illicit and licit stimulant drugs then discuss one of them?

Drugs are generally used to treat an ailment. It can be categorized into two namely licit drugs (approved by government, FDA) and illicit drugs (not approved by government, FDA)

Some of the most common used illicit stimulant drugs are

• Marijuana
• Cocaine (slow to addiction in the beginning by experimenting its effects.It is available in the form of powder and taken by sniffing method)
• Amphetamine
• Meth(Methamphetamine) (highly addictive ,available in crystal and also in powder forms)

These all stimulants act directly on the central nervous system makes them crave for these substances more and more over a time period .This leads to addiction .

The licit drugs which are most commonly used for treating mental health disorder often turn to addiction drugs, if used for a longer time and with no supervision .Some of the common stimulants drugs which are categorized in to licit drugs are

• Caffeine (though approved by FDA ,over a long period of time the clients will not be able to do their activities without this coffee
• Alcohol ,it is widely available and accessibility makes people to get addicted to it easily
• Nicotine ,used in cigarettes is also addictive
• Substances like tobacco, though banned in many countries ,still under use by general population leafing them to addiction .
