To be a healthy individual the health starts from mouth. Mouth can be known as the gateway.

Decay of teeth and infection in gums or any infections to the oral cavity can lead to a various number of health issues which can also affect brain and heart infection. This shows the importance of giving education regarding oral health. It is inevitable that we educate young children, because they likely to obey and follow the instructions.

In preventive density is the major part where the practicing to keep the oral cavity healthy. Health education mainly focus in providing accurate information on how the disease affects, bacterial infestation on teeth and all the possible ways to prevent them. The ares to be dealt are:

• Nutrition: avoiding excess carbohydrates from diet. This prevents the bacteria that produces acid that causes tooth decay.
• Fluoride prophylaxis: the element is an essential part where tooth decay can be prevented.
• We usually know that brushing twice daily is really effective. Take measures to follow.
• Incorporating fluoride in diet necessary.
• Flossing as required is necessary.
