The world has changed tremendously and the changes are reflected in politics, technology, society and the entire environment. Religions came in the picture with a different intention. This world has thousands of religions and all of them started from one single point nature worship.

Today, almost each religion has their beliefs and teachings written in a book such as Bible for Christianity, Bagavad Gita for Hindus, and Quran for Muslims. All these Holy Books were written by human beings from different geographic locations and in different contexts. Making them universal may not hold any water for example, Old Testament was very specific to Jews and it's the history of that particular race, their life and beliefs. Quran speaks about the Islamic cultures and Hinduism speaks about the life style of people in India. There are radical and terrorists groups in all the religions who have adopted only the negative aspects of those religions that are written in their Holy Books.

There are lots of sub groups in all the religions and these divisions have come into existence by holding certain doctrines written in their scriptures. Take the example of Christianity; it's got thousands of sub groups based on their doctrines, Catholics, Protestants etc. Hindus have lot of sub divisions based on caste and creed. Muslims have sub groups as well. If everyone is equal in the eyes of God, then why should people get divided in the name of the same God?

Some people in the name of religion want to dominate others and for which they will quote selective texts from their scriptures which was written in a different context and do not have a literal meaning. These religious people choose those few doctrines that make them or give them an illusion that they are superior to other religions. Groups such as ISIS militants, RSS in India, Illuminati, and Christian Preachers who wish to convert everyone in the world to Christianity all come under this umbrella. Talking and preaching what's comfortable for them and whatever makes them superior over other people make them reckless. They don't mind hurting other people in their pursuit of religious fanaticism.
