These are all important factors factors not of their choosing genetics environmental toxicity stress and strife from societal pressures that are unjust.

How healthy we are and how long we live is not just the result of our genes and our biology, but also a direct result of the health choices we make, the place where we live, the health care we receive, and policies and laws that affect our opportunities and choices. Understanding the links between stress and health, and how social advantage or disadvantage can influence people’s experiences of stress, can help inform and guide policies in all of the sectors that influence health.
