a) Practice a healthy diet- means a diet rich vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and legumes and low with refined grains, sugary foods and saturated and trans fats.
b) Eat mindfully:- give full attention to what you eat, savoring each bite, acknowledging what you like and don't like, and don't eat when distracted like while watching TV, working on computer etc. This helps to eat less and enjoy food.
c) Eat slowly and chew well - slow eating helps to feel full eat less amount. Eating slowly makes a person aware of the taste, smell and texture of the food and feels more satisfaction with fewer calories.
d) Identity and avoid emotional triggers like stress, anxiety, lonely, over excitement etc which makes people to eat more.
e) Eat low energy food which can be eaten in more volume and reduce calories.
f) Eat at regular intervals, don't skip meals. This can cause over eating later.
g) Include adequate proteins - proteins increase satiety and helps to reduce muscle loss during weight loss.
h) Regular exercises helps to utilize extra energy and reduce weight.
2) Identify and describe 3 reasons why it is difficult for most individuals to lose weight?
a) Motivation :- An important fact to reduce weight, because reducing weight cannot be achieved within one or two days, it needs continuous planning and interventions. When Not motivated adequately person stop doing exercises or healthy food practices and go back to old practices.
b) Unable to change or replace food habits to healthy food habits and eating habits like eating regularly, avoiding junk foods and high calories etc.
c) Life style :- unable to change life style and daily routines to healthy life styles like daily exercises, get up early to go for a walk than just sitting, spending free time eating snaks or junk foods and watching TV etc

* Daily exercise like walking, if needs to go for a shorter distance use bicycle or walk.
* Prepare food at home than getting from outside, this helps to controll oils, fat and sugar etc according to our wish. Boil than derp frying.
* Don't eat food while watching TV or playing in mobile phones or in computers.
* Avoid junk foods.
* Include more vegetables and fruits in diet.
* Avoid high saturated fats and sugers.
* Eat regularly don't skip meals.
* Eat small amound, slowly and chew well.
* Drink plenty of water rather than carbonated drinks.
