A psychologically healthy life includes purpose and direction in life apart from the happiness and stress free life.

1. Autonomy
It is
the ability to make our own decisions regarding how to think and behave, rather than excessive reliance on others’ opinions /ideas or approval. Autonomous person are able to resist social pressures which are inconsistent with their inner standards /values / preferences.

2. Self-acceptance

It is about Accepting the facts that one have strengths and weaknesses, life has ups and downs and the fact that everyone makes mistakes, looses opurtunities and then regret and feels disappointed and have unpleasant emotions.
It is also reflected in understanding and being nonjudgmental of oneselves and how one's lives have gone so far.

3. Purpose in life

With purpose comes a sense of direction in life. It help one understand what they value most, and take one's life in the same direction. One find satisfaction in setting life goals and working to achieve these and feel that life has some meaning.
