We all know that the HR department is tasked with managing the human value that the company has. It includes the human-based currency that the company needs to secure, invest in and allow them to grow in order to gain the most benefit from their investment. It is true that HR managers are not considered as a business partner, which in reality is a mistake. The HRM allows a company to be able to realize their goals and scopes by essentially providing the company with the most valuable asset of them all, the human resource.
The HR essentially functions the same as the board members, stakeholders, investors and therefore, must be given a chance.
On one hand there are many advantages and a few disadvantages to not consider the human resource as a partner, but, the disadvantages of not considering the HR as a partner isn't the company and not the help is because they focus on the aspect of business that the financial strategies formulated by the business’ chief officers cannot be able to comprehend. It is a complex process just like the financial processes we deal with every day. Also, it includes the factors as dissolving the separation between the different processes of the HR and line-level workers. Keeping the two factors separate for too long will decrease the work output, therefore, people need to integrate their business process to that of the human processes and create a collaboration.
