Discuss two additional specific assessments you would perform, and why the information you obtain in these assessments might be a concern to the RN. meter..divide 165 by 100=1.65

underweight..she must be weight between 121.7 to
164.4 pounds weight..

Nutritional assessment: nutrition assessment is
necessary for diagnosing malnutrition in the elderly
population..malnutrition has been associated with compromised
congnitive capacity in the elderly people..mal nutrition make elder
people in to medical illness,depression and inability to cope up
with their work..
vision assessment: due to poor nutrition their
will be impairment in their eyes,they can get poor
vision,cataract,glaucoma and macular regeneration can develop
overtime.simple assessment can be done by RN by asking the patient
to read short passage from any book or magazine..
Education:
- As they are aged they have to eat such a nutritional food which
include potassium,calcium,vitamin D,vitamin B12,minerals and
dietary fibers..
-Eating calorie food can provide energy for them..
-Advice to add fruit and vegetables and avoid salt and sugar in
diet..
-drink 3cups of fat-free or low-fat milk daily to strenghten their
bone..and they can add yogurt,buttermilk,hard cheese in diet,
-drink more water and avoid sugary drinks..
-consume vitamin B12 diet
-Advice to be active and 10minutes exercise is
essential to improve their physical activity..
-advice to come for regualar physical assessment..
