Academic standards are being used to get info about the students academic records on a regular basis with the use of certain tests which are being conducted in a systematic manner. These tests give brief assessment about the areas in which the ward is good as well as the area in which further work is being required to attain a good place.It also helps in understanding about the capabilities of the students.

Teachers can use them in a very profound manner to develop a perfect layout for the students with the help of these records.Through this one can cover all the points which need a further enhancement and also maintain a routine farmework to work on the factors which have issues.

At various places these standards are being used to demotivated/tease the students which is not good by any means because by these acts we are blocking their chances for further emprovement. The usage of these standards need a bit more emporvement so that they can also focus not only on Academic standards but on other aspects as well.Not every student is good in academic's,They have some other hidden potentials as well. We need to extract that potential in every one as soon as possible.
