CORONARY ARTERY BYPASS
GRAFT(CABG):
CABG is a surgical procedure in which a blood vessel is grafted
to an occludede coronary artery so that blood can flow beyond the
occlusion.
Nursing diagnosis include:
- Decreased cardiac output related to blood loss and
compromised myocardial infraction.
- Impaired gas exchange related to chest surgery.
- Acute pain related to surgical trauma and pleural irritation
caused by chest tubes.
- Ineffective thermoregulation related to infection.
- Risk for imbalanced fluid volume and electrolyte imbalance
related to alteration in blood volume.
