The goal of computer forensics is to examine digital media with the aim of identifying, recovering, analyzing and presenting facts and opinions about the digital information.Although it is associated with the investigation of a wide variety of computer crime, computer forensics may also be used in civil proceedings.Computer forensic analyst is a responsible position thet combines computer science background with forensic skills to recover information from computers and storage devices. The responsibility of analysts is assisting law enforcement officers with cyber crimes and to retrieve evidence.

If i'm the manager to hire system forensics specialist , I would prefer follwing qualities shold be there.

• They must typically hold a bachelor's degree in computer science with a background in criminal justice.
• They must be familiar with standard computer operating systems, networks and hardware as well as security software and document-creation applications.Because they have to use their technical skills to hunt for information that have been hidden, deleted or lost.
  
• Analysts must have expertise in hacking and intrusion techniques.Some times as a prerequisite they must have the capability to escape from attacks done by opposities.
• They must have excellent analytical skills,because they must analyse where the problem is.They have to workout from bottom to justice the problem.they have to analyse all digital storage devices.
• They are to be able to multi-task efficiently.Per suppose if they called to the field to take custody and begin processing digital evidence,they want to overlook data storage locations external to the suspect computer(s).
  they may include external hard drives, USB thumb drives, flash memory cards, CDs and DVDs, backup tapes, network attached storage devices, smart phones, tablets, etc.
  Even the memory cards in a digital camera, digital picture frame, GPS unit or other consumer device might contain evidence.
