For this assignment, I would like you to write approximately 2 paragraphs describing the physiological effects caused by smoking tobacco and relating these effects to ganglionic stimulation.

Tobacco smoking has many adverse effects on human body. They initially stimulates brain cells but gradually brain activity is reduced and nervous system get paralyzed. They affect concentration power. Lugs are also heavily affected by tobacco smoking. The initial effect are sneezing. coughing and asthma which in due course my lead to fatal diseases such c pneumonia , emphysema and ultimately lung cancer. Tobacco smoking is responsible for 84% death from lung cancer.

Nicotine acts as both a stimulant and a depressant to the central nervous system. Nicotine first causes a release of the hormone epinephrine, which further stimulates the nervous system and is responsible for part of the "kick" from nicotine-the drug-induced feelings of pleasure and, over time, addiction. Nicotine influence heart rate, blood pressure and it also affects myocardial contarctility. Sympatheic nerve ending when get stimulated by nicotine the influx calcium ion through voltage-dependent N-type calcium channels. This triggers release of catecholamine by exocytosis. Nicotine acts as both stimulant and depressant of CNS. Nicotine induce release of epinephrine hormone . Epinephrine stimulated nervous system and a feeling of pleasure is experienced which turn into addiction in due course of time.
