A company is looking for a new logo. As a manager of the company, you have been given the responsibility of generating ideas for the new logo and promoting it. What type of marketing strategies will you use to promote the logo?
Marketing strategies to promote the logo are as follows-
1) Social media - Social media sites like Facebook, Twitter etc. have emerged as a great platform for building a global brand image for an entity's logo as they have a wider base of younger audience and also provide opportunities to viewers to get connected with each other. This increases logo's visibility among the masses through the compounding effect of passing the message to the people who are connected.
2) Content marketing - It is also another way of reaching out to a highly literate audience as it provides them the ability to write or read reviews on the internet and have an idea of a product or trend. A blog placed on the website of a company, highlighting the characteristics and the history of logo through public participation, where readers will be able to write their reviews.
3) Physical promotion - Under this method, the company resorts to target working class audience through banners, billboards, hoardings in highly populated office as well as commercial complexes which attract a large regular crowd.
4) Merchandising - This is also a very useful method of promoting a company's logo where a logo is inscribed on shirts, caps, mugs etc., which helps in penetration of brand image and reinstatement of brand loyalty.
