Explain what would be some of the monetary and non-monetary motivation for an Indonesian employee?
When considering the motivation level of the employee, the monetary or the non monetary rewards can enhance the motivation level. Depending on the culture of the country or region the factors that can motivate employees can vary. Considering the country Indonesia, some of the monetary and non monetary factors which can motivate the employees of that country have been discussed below.
Monetary factors include the money, incentives, performance appraisal etc which can motivate employees. Like all other countries, the Indonesian employees are motivated through the provision of rewards, target based incentives, coupons or other rewards for best performance etc.
The non-monetary factor which can motivate Indonesian employees includes job security. The Indonesian employees cannot tolerate uncertainty. If they are given job security they would be motivated. They prefer group work and group achievements. If the managers implement team dynamics, it can motivate them. Apart from this recognition, appreciation etc can also motivate the Indonesian employees.
