The qualitative research questions would be based on descriptions, perspectives, understanding of the participants’ point of view and their behavior instead of quantitative measures such as test scores, statistical analysis. Since this research question is examining the point in terms of behavioral analysis this can be best answered by using a qualitative method.
This type of research is known as Behavior Analysis, also known as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), which helps in further observing and understanding the underlying causes of the concerned participant’s behavior. ABA is also carried out in firms, organisations and communities,so as to understand the behavioral patterns of the same. The study of such behavioral patterns stimulate the reasoning behind why and how the individuals in a firm, community or organisation react or act the way they do.This intricate examining of the functioning and responses of individuals helps in underlining the root causes of certain ill-disposed traits that some individuals may possess.
A study showed that ABA can be beneficial in certain cases of autism amongst kids and can help reduce the symptoms of the same.ABA has also proven to be helpful in cases of Parental Training , helping parents understand their children better and in organisational firms by improving the employer-employee relationships.Contrary to quantitative researchs, quualitive researchs such as Behavior Analysis, helps to gain a better perspective and insight on individuals’ mannerisms.
