Employee engagement:Employee engagement refers to the commitment of the employees towards the organisation where they works.It is totally different from employees satisfation. An employees satisfaction is varies with person .For example a person may become satisfied by just getting the salary without having much commitment towards the institution but Employee engagement refers to how much dedicated you are or how much effort you are putting up for any task that you are doing for the organisation.Employee engagement refers to what change you are bringing to the organisation.How much progress an institution is making and what is your positive role behind that.Its all about the bond that you have with your institution.If employees are dedicated towards institution than there is more chances of institution getting more success and will definitely progress.

Four Key Questions with Marcus Buckingham :According to Marcus Buckingham who worked as an advisor for the redesign of how to assess the performance of employees and came up with some interesting fact.It is not necessary to ask so many people to measure the performance of the employee rather it is possible to get the performance rate by simply asking four question to the team leader.Among the four questions the first two are rated on five point scale and the other two are rated just by yes or no.The four key questions are:

1.Given what I know of this person's performance and if it were my money I would award this person the highest possible compensation increase and bonus.

2.Given what I know of this person's performance,I would always want him or her in my team.

The above two questions are very relevant with the performance of the employee and this two are answered on a five point scale which contains strongly agree to strongly disagree.The team leader will put his view point on this five point scale which will easily show the employees commitment.

3.This person is at risk for low performance

4.This person is ready for promotion today.

The above two questions are answered by saying yes or No which could easily rate the employee.

From this four questions and only four questions it is possible to get a feedback regarding the employee.
