What are the stereotypes about women of color who are mothers, and how is reality different from these stereotypes? What are the stereotypes and the reality for lesbian mothers?
Childbirth educators have made impressive changes in the way childbirth is now approached. However, motherhood is still extremely stressful. Imagine that our society valued motherhood enough to fund programs aimed at decreasing the difficulties that women experience during the postpartum phase. First, review those sources of stress. Then describe an ideal program that would include education, assistance, and social support.

I think this is a very controversial topic but also, an hypothetical one. Who knows if everything could turn out fine and make this one of the greatest innovations of all time? Who knows if it's going to be a 'failure'?
In my point of view, dealing with AI is tricky. I feel that nothing should ever be done to reach the limits, specially when dealing with technology. However, it has to be done between the limits and be controllable. In the video, Sam Harris tells us that year after year we will improve our machines and eventually build machines that are way smarter than we are and that, eventually, they can improve by themselves. At this point, I feel like we've already crossed our limit and are susceptible to have an "intelligence explosion" and get this situation out of control. In this sensitive scenario, we should opt for the safer option and take our time to reevaluate our improvements so far and make it a slow process so that we can assure that none mistake or action is taken that can harm us in the future.
At this point and when talking about AI, risks and safety should always be concerning and always going to be present. As a consequence, our generation should realize that this is a big deal and reflect about it and decide (each time they want to make another improvement) if the risks that they are going to take are worth threatening our future existence and safety. In conclusion, I don't think there's a yes or no to this question and topic. However, it's definitely something that, in my point of view, needs to take its time and constantly reevaluate our situation, improvements, risks, but more importantly, our safety in a near future.

By Murphy’s Law, anything that can go wrong will go wrong. Throughout history, there have been multiple technological disasters due to errors in overlooking safety precautions, errors in manufacturing, or when a piece of the machinery simply gives out. The most advanced model of some sort of technology could be highly praised for its innovation, yet at some point, something is bound to go wrong. In the TED Talk, by Sam Harris, Harris addresses the issues concerning AI and how they are something to be feared. I agree with the all too science fiction dilemmas AIs bring into society, and he brings up many interesting points. Artificial Intelligence encompasses such wonder and hope for a smarter future. Yet so ironically, it should be something people fear. There are too many people who praise the great unknown capacity artificial intelligence has. People have been growingly dependent on technology and do not realize how easily it can control us. AI most definitely has the possibility to “annihilate… without a qualm” the way Harris explains humans destroy ants once the ants get in their way (Harris). Many people, however, feel that we are still doing the research and our world is far from that. However, Harris also discusses how assessing the amount of time it would take us to actually create such advanced AI is futile for “when we continue to improve our machines, we will produce superintelligence” (Harris). More concerning, once we have this superintelligence, how can society be reassured that it is safe and that us as a human race will not be controlled by it. Furthermore, there are many issues we need to address in our society that cannot be fixed by an AI. I feel that by human nature, humans can become too obsessed with trying to reach such heights they believe AI represent, and instead, we need to look introspectively on how we can improve society independent of superintelligence.

According to Erik Erikson, the central psychosocial issue in young adulthood is intimacy vs. isolation. What variables will determine whether or not a young adult is able to resolve this stage in favor of intimacy?
Your task for this question is to generate at least 2-4 explanations as to why someone may have a difficult time forming meaningful relationships in their life. For each explanation, explain which psychosocial conflict is applicable. Describe the developmental crisis, how the individual resolves the crisis, and how the successful resolution results in healthier development.
Your response should be 5 paragraphs in length. Be mindful of using proper grammar and spelling. Please be specific in your example.
