Human resource management means the management of various employees working in an organization so that the organization can work in a right and accurate manner. Actually management of human resources is quite necessary because an organization is able to achieve its goals only with the help of employees only. If any organization is able to handle its human resources in an efficient manner then it becomes quite easy for the organization to achieve its goals and objectives. In human resource management, various functions have to be done such as providing employees the required training and directions for the job they have to do. Even it involves hiring of new employees according to the needs of an organization.
There are several principles of human resource management and we will discuss them one by one. The first principle is providing each and every employee working in the organization the same opportunity so that everyone can get an equal chance of showing their skills and talent. Also this helps in making a positive environment in an organization because no one gets jealous of anyone. The second principle is providing an employee the job which he can do in the best manner. Every employee has some qualities and special skills therefore it is very important for an organization to assign jobs to every employee according to the talent and skills every employee possesses. There is a principle which says that an organization should involve the employees in the various crucial decisions of the organization. Involving employees in the decision-making process helps in boosting up their confidence level as it makes them feel to be an important part of the organization. There is another principle which says that employees who are having the same set of skills must be paid equally. There must not be any difference in the salaries of employees who are having the same qualifications and the same skills. One more principle of human resource management says that an organization must review the performances of various employees at regular intervals and give some special rewards to those who are working really well for the organization and showing full dedication towards their work. The organization should give incentives to such hardworking employees. Such employees continue to give their best performances if they are rewarded from time to time by the organization. There is one more principle which says that the organization must maintain a healthy atmosphere in the organization which means that there must be good cooperation among the various employees and all the employees should work as a team in the organization. There must not be any conflict in the organization. There is one more principle that says that an organization must give equal respect to each and every employee working in the organization. There should not be any type of misbehaviour with any employee. Every employee is an asset to the organization therefore it is very important that every employee must get the respect which he deserves.
