Your goal is to convince the key decision makers at the company to hire you to work on a human resource project.

Importance of human resourse management

We deal with n-number of people in our day to day life. Every person is unique in this world in terms of attitude, behavior, language, maturity level, class, creed, color etc. This is also seen in the corporate world. Corporate is a mix of these kind of people. We can't deal the same way with everyone. Therefore the role of human resourse management comes in light. It is not limited to dealing with them mentally but has avery vast scope. Human resourse management is the function which aims at ensuring right number of employees in an organisation , managing them and directing them towards achieving the oranization goals. Not only this , but HRM also deals with performance management , compensation, and training of the employees to ensure the organizational development.

HRM is important because it ensures good environment and working culture for the employees. It helps in developing the skills in employees by providing them effective training. HRM helps in solving the disputes among the employees and ensure peace and harmony. It enhances the productivity of the employees with helps in cost saving for the organisation. HRM also keeps watch on unfair practices within the oranisation like discrimination , misbehaviors , unsaffe practises etc. HRM works for the welfare of the employees.

Accomplishments

  • Created a single policy by merging three existing policies for the employees without reducing the existing benifit entitlements which resulted in the saving of $500,000 anually.
  • Setup an portal for employee grievances with a timeline of resolving the issue within 7 days of complaint.
  • Revised the old employee handbook with necessary changes to ease the working of employees.
  • Changed the existing outdated training program with the new effective program which resulted in not only saving the cost of an organisation by $200,000 anually but also enhancing the productivity of the employees.

I will make 200% efforts in designing and framing the policies according to the latest trends to keep the organisation top in the era of tough competiton. Focus will be on key issues like employees performance management , training & development, retention, & recruitments. This functions generally costs a lot to company so the policies will be designed to elilimate extra cost while maintaining all the benefits to the employees.
