Skeletal structure:Each skeletal muscle fiber is a single cylindrical muscle cell. An individual skeletal muscle may be made up of hundreds, or even thousands, of muscle fibers bundled together and wrapped in a connective tissue covering. Each muscle is surrounded by a connective tissue sheath called the epimysium.Skeletal musclesmaintain posture, stabilize bones and joints, control internal movement, and generate heat.Skeletal muscle fibers are long, multinucleated cells. The membrane of the cell is the sarcolemma; the cytoplasm of the cell is the sarcoplasm.
Blood vessels : Blood vessels consist of arteries, arterioles, capillaries, venules, and veins. Vesselnetworks deliver blood to all tissues in a directed and regulated manner. Arteries and veins are composed of three tissue layers.
Capillaries, the smallest and most numerous of the blood vessels, form the connection between the vessels that carry blood away from the heart (arteries) and the vessels that return blood to the heart (veins). The primaryfunction of capillaries is the exchange of materials between the blood and tissue cells.
Muscular:
main function of the muscular system is movement, but it also helps stabilize our joints, maintain our posture and generate heat during activity. Movement of our body can be voluntary and controlled by the skeletalmuscles, or it can be involuntary and controlled by smooth muscles.
