The choice of channels of communication as well as timing of the message is very important for dissemination of information, overseeing and leading the teams through timely and accurate information leading to successful implementation of plans, managing stakeholders by communicating with them throughout the course of project, using communication as a strategic tool to reduce the reaction time to take advantage of favourable opportunities, as well as mitigating unplanned events and risks through effective communication to minimise the damages. Besides this, regular communication keeps the project manager in touch with team, helps to guide, direct, motivate them, and keep their morale high. Overall, communication is a strategic medium to ensure the project success.
