Discuss how can a project manager prepare a project final report ?
A project final report is a contractual requirement of almost every project. Internal and external stakeholders demand a project final report to know the processes, resources used, and how the entire team worked on providing the final results. It also helps to evaluate the set constraints, and confirms the closure of project with its result communicated to everyone.
A project manager can develop final project report by including the following elements:
* reasons for initiating the project and all the processes that executed to get the approval for working on the project activities.
* A gist of the entire project implementation and brief about the specific goals achieved.
* Details about the financial resources utilised and how budget constraints were used.
* Factors that impacted the project and it's outcome.
* Details about the overall project outcome, that would improve the business and it's goodwill.
* Annexure documents such as, project plans, scope report, documents of approval, etc.
