Agile project management offers an iterative method of planning and completing a project. Software development is very important in today’s society. One of the most appropriate methods for software development is agile software development. Agile project management is applied in the software field because it offers constant feedback, continuous planning, testing, the collaboration of people, and effective decision-making. The team is usually cross-functional, with each working in every stage of the software development process. After every iteration, a deliverable is given to the client. Using this method of software management reduces the risk of failure making the software adaptable. Having non-bureaucratic processes of project management facilitates quicker response to clients giving the organization a competitive advantage. Due to the timely updates on a daily and weekly basis, clients can adjust their requirements to meet their needs.

With the iterations, problems are fixed as soon as they occur, reducing the chances of redoing. In case of any omissions, the frequent demonstrations can quickly identify them, and corrective measures are taken. Additionally, stakeholders often hold meetings during the development cycle. Healthy relationships are built as a result and help improve the product. Having a cross-functional agile team ensures issues are solved quickly and interactively.
