Answer: Critical infrastructure is those assets that are essential for the functioning of the society and economy like public health, agriculture, water supply, security, etc.

Four critical infrastructure that requires continuous professional development is as follows:

1. Public Health: professional development of public health, is an essential element of human resource development, As a healthy person contributes to the development of the country by increasing efficiency and productivity. Therefore the expansion of health facilities, the number of registered doctors should be increased as right we all are suffering from COVID-19 it is an indicator we have to professionally develop the public health facility and we should also upgrade health-related technology and do more n more research in order to curb such issues.
2. Agriculture: Raise agriculture productivity, Transform traditional agriculture into most modern agriculture, improve irrigation and logistics, innovative storage technology, etc.
3. water supply: It is the basic need for the improvement of the quality of life and enhancement of the productive efficiency of the people. Rapid urbanization and industrialization has multiplied the challenges for providing these basic amenities. In order to come out of this problem invent new water conservation technology, develop energy-efficient desalination plants, improve water catchment and harvesting, etc.
4. security: security is strategically important as it limits vulnerability so develop professionally this infrastructure by in this utilise IT in airports, highways, rail transport, transport hubsetc.
