Part A)
I feel I am highly prepared and confident to prepare and reach
for an interview. Here is where the trust comes from:
- I carefully analyse and understand the company vision,
objectives and the products - It is important to understand the
organisation and its purpose and align the personal
objectives.
- I thoroughly go through the company social media pages, recent
campaigns and even the website.
- Post company analysis I check the job description and
understand the requirement of jobs from performance, skills and
education level. It is important to focus on strength areas.
- It is important to understand the accomplishments and
prepare examples in storytelling formats. This helps the
organisation to understand me better and aspects related to solving
problems, leading teams and managing challenges etc.
- It is important to check customer feedback and
reviews as it helps to define the brand identity of the
company. It helps to prepare better for an interview and also
knowing the various competitions in the market helps to analyse
what makes company product & services distinct.
- To ensure further preparedness it is important to check annual
reports and financial health of the company.
- On a personal level, I also update my linked in and various
other social media profiles in order to give authentic and best
description of my choices and hobbies.
- Another aspect is that if the objectives, job description and
other areas are matching then preparedness for salary expectation
and negotiation should be done as well.
Visiting the office and checking the latest news and
industry-related updates are important for any generic question
being asked during the interview.
Because of this level of preparedness, I feel high prepared
and confident.
Part B)
Here is how I feel other people perceive me during an important
interaction:
- I demonstrate a high level of emotional stability and show
consistency in my behavior.
- During such an important interaction, I carefully do a
situation assessment and understand viewpoint of others.
This empathy helps to predict and understand the overall dynamics
of the conversation leading to better acceptability.
- People must also feel that I have the ability to
forecast and look into the future. I have a good knowledge
of the external trends and like making thoughtful and carefully
assessed decision.
- Open-mindedness is another skill that
I show to other people. I am never over critical about others and
always willing to modify my decision based on other
viewpoints.
- I am open to new ideas and bringing change management to the
team.
- Social skills are other areas where people might
feel that I am strong & using the storytelling formats makes
others feel that I value the experiences and
interactions in past.
- I am open about my strengths as well as weak areas.
- I demonstrate good communication skills, collaborative approach
and people-first as value.
Developing workplace culture and demonstrating integrity are
other values which can be assessed during any personal interaction
with me.
