changes you have had to personally make.
I am a very outgoing person. I do not like staying in one place for more time. During this pandemic, the change of being locked down in your home has been completely new and not something I am very accustomed to. While work from home is something that I do regularly, not being able to go outside for running or go out on long drives or to be able to play is frustrating. Changes like there is no world outside for me for the next few weeks or even months in some ways are scary as I would not be able to do a lot of things I like to do. Good thing is that I can spend more time with my family and also to know that staying indoors is helping in the fight against this pandemic helps boost your morale. There are psychological and physical changes that you need to cope up with as well. Small things like jogging and exercise used to complete my day however now that I am not able to do that, I have learned yoga which itself is a very good way of keeping your mental and physical balance in check.
how you feel about those changes; how you are coping
Change is the only constant and because of this pandemic, it was pretty obvious that there was going to be a lockdown for a long period to break the chain. Personally, though making up your mind even before things were not as bad, it helped me a lot in taking the news positively. It took some time to adjust to the change however once you have come to terms with the change in your daily routine, you sort of carry on without even realizing the change. I make sure that I listen to positive news about the kind of progress the world has been making against the pandemic. This gives you hope that soon things are going to be back to normal.
economic impacts for you, friends, and/or family
Now given the situation, there is rarely any work being performed now, there is bound to be the financial impact on you as well as your friends as more or less every part of work/profession has been impacted by this situation. Organization which is small and depends upon the monthly income for salaries to employees would take actions as they would not be able to survive if they don't. Many of my friends along with me are in Travel business which is the most impacted sector of all. Travel is suspended domestically as well as internationally. Every country is reeling under the pandemic pressure and has stopped flights as well as entry into the country. There is no leisure travel which used to be the highest during this period of year.
educational impacts for you, friends or family
The highest impact has been on kids and their studies. Their schools, colleges are closed indefinitely and they can't even go outside to play. We have been trying to homeschool kids, letting them play inside the house, however, it is hard as they do not get enough physical or mental joy which they used to get playing along with their friends. Kids who had exams and were eagerly waiting for their results are now stuck. Parents who had different schools or even colleges in mind for their kids to go to, are now left with no options but to wait out this period. Whatever preparation was done, has been either wasted or halted.
