Answer 1a
Language development
When a toddler reaches the age 3, he or she knows at least 200 or more than 200 words. They can speak clearly now as compared to younger ones and what they speak can be understood.
Cognitive development
At this stage, children start having a new perspective. They start looking at the world differently. This is the time when their creative side starts growing. They like colorful things and recognizes various colors.
Physical development
There are growth in motors skills when toddlers are 3 years. They like to walk up and down, play a lot, run, kick and throw and remain active most of the time. They become very confident about their new skills.
Social/Emotional development
By this age, children become slightly independent emotionally. They start interacting with other people, show interest to go to other places etc.

Activity for language: Give them rhyme books or other story books with interesting pictures. Reading those books loud to the toddler.
Activity for cognitive: Encouraging the toddler to ask questions and the parents or caretaker replying them.
Activity for physical: Play games with them like hide and seek, musical chair etc.
Activity for social/emotional development: Taking the child out to the park and allowing the child to interact and play with other children.

Adults have a great role to play in helping the child to learn and grow. The main responsibility of adults as parents and guardians is to provide these little children a safe environment so that they can play and learn without stopping or restricting themselves. Secondly, adults should support them and allow the children to fullfil their urges.
