Pre-schooler:
1. Physiological development: Children participate in throwing and catching games, climb stairs, upper body mobility, running faster, riding bicycles, involves in physical plays like seesaw, slide or swings, fine motor skills development like building blocks, dress on own, eating on their own.
2. Psychological development: This age group is ruled by their emotions. Their mood changes drastically. They begin to understand their emotions, but little control. They use hitting, biting or pushing as a way to solve conflicts. They develop a sense of humour and empathy at the age of 4. At age of 5 they start having control over their emotions. They start asking questions regarding sexuality.
3. Cognitive development: They can understand and organise games, make friends, understand concepts like big and tall, develop a sense of humour, concept of time, predicting what comes next, short concentration power, negotiates if they want something.
4. Motor development: They can paste things on paper, clap hands, touch fingers, button and unbutton, build a tower, complete puzzles, uses pencils and crayons to color and draw, draw a circle or a cross, cut simple shapes.
