Employee Participation means involvement of employees in decision making process. Employees are being encouraged to take responsibility in carrying out activities in the organisation which can meet the needs of their customers. They are trusted to make decisions for themselves and the organisation.

Some of the examples of employee Participation are

1. In many of the organisations even the ground level of the employees are given considerable responsibility because on regular basis they are interacting with the customers. That is, the responsibility is being delegated within the organisation.

2. Meetings are being conducted in which encouragement is given to employees for sharing their own creative or valuable ideas which can sometimes may become very useful .

3. In some organisations , idea sharing system is implemented through their company website portals in which employees who share valuable or creative ideas may be rewarded .
