and post you find most interesting about what is discussed about how humans will look in the future and if you agree with the talk and if not, how do you think humans will look like and evolve the future.
The complex processes of neuroengineering and genetics, bionics along with the prosthetics could bring about the evolvement of the human body if we chose to. This makes the future quite a fascinating one. However, there are many ethical issues involved with the same. Humans are an ever greedy entity who wants more benefits. We are never satisfied with what we have. This could get us in grave danger in future due to its consequences. Hence, I do not support the idea of evolving humans in future because every benefit has its own cost and it is not ethical to play God by playing with nature.
Humans have applied technology in evolving the smaller organisms like the bacteria, as well as the lower plants, fungi, and algae for deriving most beneficial characters out of them. This would totally change the very fundamentals of humanity because we would have to alter even the tiniest of the nerves to change the response that the evolved human would generate to the stimuli. The research today has come to a point where we are reprogramming our own body cells to recreating the body chemistry. Someday we would be able to enhance the human genome by enhancing the gene code. This will totally change every fundamental of the human body which would make the future human an unrecognizable entity. This newly designed body would have nothing in common with the original human consciousness.
