Discuss what you would consider part of the growing Special Populations. In addition, what specific issues and concerns do you have about emergency planning in respect to our Special Population?

The issue with current economic system is that people buy and use those products which are not essential for their day to day life and this unsustainable lifestyle cause imbalance between the ecosystem and population growth. For example the exponential population growth requires large food and shelter supply and in order to meet this exponential demand large stretches of land needs to be cleared by cutting and burning forests so that to provide land for agriculture and construction and this problem of clearing large patches of forest is known as deforestation and since the amount of carbon dioxide taken up by agricultural crops grown in per unit area is very less as compared to the carbon dioxide taken up by forests therefore it have a negative effect on environment by increasing the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. The greenhouse effect is important for supporting the life and various life processes as in the absence of greenhouse effect the temperature on earth would become far less than the sustainable temperature. But enhanced greenhouse effect is responsible for the global warming of earth and this phenomenon of global warming is having many negative effects. This phenomenon of global warming Is taking place the rate with which the carbon dioxide emissions is increasing (exponentially) which is a green house gas and thus will increase the temperature of earth cannot be nullified by any natural feedback system
